WANTED Suspect Sought in Three Robberies Investigators with the Criminal Investigations Division are looking for a suspect wanted for three robberies in the Callaway area. Sidney Robert Benner is believed to be responsible for robbing the Dollar Tree at 825 Tyndall Parkway on July 8, 2007, at 10:49 a.m. and the Phillip Food Store at 549 South Tyndall Parkway shortly after midnight July 10, 2007. On both occasions Benner allegedly entered the business and picked up merchandise to purchase. When the cash register drawer opened he reached into the drawer and snatched as much cash as he could and fled the store. Benner also is believed responsible for an early afternoon robbery today, July 10, 2007, at K-Mart on Tyndall Parkway. In today’s robbery, Benner picked up merchandise and went again to the check out counter. Again when the cash drawer opened he snatched money and, this time taking the merchandise with him, he fled the store with the cash. Benner is described as a white male, 160 pounds, 5' 9", with brown hair and blue eyes. He is 30 years old and has tattoos on both upper arms.
